JJ Food Service has become an associate member of the National Federation of Fish Friers.
The wholesaler has joined the trade association as it targets the fish and chip shop market. JJ has also launched a trade marketing campaign to highlight new products and promotions to customers throughout 2016.
“We are delighted to have the backing of the NFFF in highlighting our offer to fish and chip shops - we cover the total shopping basket including a wide range of Frozen at Sea fish and seafood lines, packaging, condiments, soft drinks and other fish and chip shop essentials at competitive and consistent prices,” said JJ’s chief products officer Ali Guvemli.
Gregg Howard, president of NFFF, said: “Our associate members play an essential role in providing products and services to the fish frying industry and in supporting the work of the NFFF in maintaining fish and chips as the UK’s number one takeaway meal.”
