Bpex is on the hunt for the nation’s best and most innovative sausages ahead of the 15th annual British sausage Week in November.

There are two categories in this year’s British Sausage Week awards, which Bpex is calling on retailers and branded manufacturers to enter.

‘Stand up for British Bangers’ is open to pork sausages with a superior taste, quality, flavour or other unique point of difference. The ‘Innovative Sausages’ category will focus on new flavours, use of speciality ingredients and innovative presentation.

The closing date is 26 August. Winners will be announced during British Sausage Week (5 to 11 November).
