Constellation Europe - the company formed from the merger of Constellation Wines Europe and Matthew Clark - has pledged to double in size over the next five years.
Setting out its ambitions to strengthen its dominance in the drinks market as the business officially started trading this week, chief executive Christopher Carson said strategic acquisitions and swelling market share were top of the agenda.
Carson said: “Constellation is already the biggest wine company in the world and we will continue to drive both the on- and off-trades and we will focus on developing our American and Australian brands and our premium Cellar Door portfolio.”
