Palmer & Harvey has secured a five-year extension to its contract with forecourt operator MRH GB.

The contract, which is worth in excess of £450m, will see the wholesaler deliver a full in-store offer for MRH, including chilled and frozen products.

Palmer & Harvey has supplied MRH since 2003 and the contract renewal to supply the 450 sites is worth in excess of £90m a year.

“We are delighted to be announcing this five-year deal with MRH and building on our already successful distribution partnership,” said Palmer & Harvey MD Martyn Ward.

“Our national distribution network and fleet of over 1,300 vehicles enable us to successfully deliver to businesses of all sizes, up and down the country.”

MRH managing director John Lynn said: “Palmer & Harvey has provided MRH with a consistently good service over a number of years and we look forward to continuing this relationship throughout the new supply agreement.”

In January, CEO of MRH, Graham Peacock sold the £2bn operation to US private equity firm Lone Star Funds.
