Sales of Mexican lager Corona Extra are motoring in the UK with a forecast sales growth of 50% this year.
Spokesman Angel Garcia Gomez said the brand grew by 35% last year, while its performance now promises to be fuelled by its renewed sponsorship of the Suzuki Alstare Superbike team for the next 12 months. Brand exposure includes trackside advertising at the 24 World Superbike Championship meetings which are being televised by BBC's Grandstand and satellite sports channel Eurosport.
The first UK race is at Silverstone next weekend (May 24-26).
