South African wine producer Boschendal is to release three millennium vintages as the new year dawns. Le Pavillon Red 2000 is made with 50% Merlot and a blend of Ruby Cabernet, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. Chenin Blanc 20O0 is a medium dry 100% varietal harvested from three decade old low yield vineyards. Sauvignon Blanc 2000 claims to be a soft and fruity wine that is ready to drink now but is fit to mature for another one to two years. Boschendal is also releasing a 1997 vintage of its Merlot varietal made with grapes harvested from a nine year old vineyard. {{DRINKS }}
