Debbie & Andrew's aims to carve out a £5m chunk of the meat snacks market by launching into cooked mini pork sausages.

15 Perfect Little Pork Sausages will be targeted at the picnic and lunchbox markets. The move came at a time when the Debbie & Andrew's brand was on target to reach £20m of sales by 2012, said joint founder Andrew Keeble: "Growth into new markets is in line with our plans to de-localise the brand from its regional heartland."

Listings are yet to be confirmed for the tubs (rsp: £1.99 for 225g).
