Mondelez is expanding its Belvita breakfast biscuit brand with chocolate and fruit-flavoured Belvita Tops.

The product, which has a flavoured topping, comes in two varieties: Choco Hazelnut and Strawberry. A pack (rsp: £2.79) contains five foil-wrapped portions of three biscuits.

Mondelez is supporting the launch with a £2m campaign including TV, radio, digital, outdoor and in-store activity.

Since its launch in 2009, Belvita has grown to become one of the top five sweet biscuit brands. In 2013, its value sales shot up 29% to £57.5m [Nielsen 52 w/e 12 October 2013]. This year, however, growth has slowed to 4% [Nielsen 52 w/e 11 October 2014].
