Bart Dalla Mura, commercial director at Allied Bakeries, is jumping camps to take up the same role at Bernard Matthews.
His switch follows six years at Allied. Prior to that, Dalla Mura held sales and marketing jobs at Nestlé and Unilever respectively.
He said: “I’m being given a great opportunity at Bernard Matthews. It’s a big brand.”
He will be replaced at Allied on an interim basis by former Golden Wonder chief executive Paul Monk, who currently runs his own brand building company, inVentaBrand. Part of Monk’s brief will be to look for a full-time replacement for Dalla Mura. He will also have responsibility for the day-to-day running of the sales division.
Monk’s arrival follows the appointment of Brian Robinson as Allied Bakeries’ chief executive last September.
