Heinz UK has appointed Adrian Mooney as marketing director of its sauces business, which includes Heinz Tomato Ketchup, HP Sauce and Lea & Perrins.
Mooney will be responsible for developing the Heinz portfolio within the UK's £422m table sauce market and will be based at the group's HQ in Hayes.
He was previously head of marketing for Northern Foods' Goodfella's pizza brand, where he launched Goodfella's Solos and helped to grow the value of the brand from £65m to £100m over three years.
Prior to Goodfella's, Mooney held senior marketing positions at Tate & Lyle and Remington, where he developed the brand's shaving and grooming operations in Europe.
Mooney's history in marketing development will be a major asset in taking the Heinz brand forward, said Heinz UK's chief marketing officer, Suzanne Douglas.
"Adrian's experience of managing and growing top brands will be invaluable as we execute our ambitious plans for sauces," she said.
