France faces further court action from Brussels, Germany and Holland for its obstruction of beef imports. France has already come under fire from Brussels over its refusal to accept British beef. A new deal between French beef producers and abattoirs to restrict the use of imported beef has incensed UK producers and EU farm commissioner Franz Fischler.
