The new range from the company includes lemon & sultana muffins (rsp: 99p for a four-pack), apple pies, lemon bakewells and toffee bakewells (rsp: all £1.09 for a six-pack) - all of which are made with a low or reduced fat recipe.
Anthony Alan Foods has been making Weight Watchers cakes since it secured the UK licence in January 2002.
And there are now 30 products in the Weight Watchers cake range.
The new cakes have been initially listed with Asda and will be rolled out to the rest of the trade later in the summer.
“These are part of a wide range of cakes we have launched in the past two-and-a-half years,” said sales director Tony Butler.
And he added that five new cakes would be launched in September, including some new Christmas lines.
