Masterfoods' organic subsidiary Seeds of Change is adding seven new products to its pasta and pasta sauce portfolio.
Three new pastas have been made with a bronze dye which is said to make it easier for sauce to coat the pasta.
The company claimed its new Egg Papardelle was the first 100% organic egg pasta on the market and that its new Semi Wholewheat pasta combined the nutritional benefits of wholewheat with the flavour and texture of regular pasta.
Along with fellow newcomer Spinach, the duo join Penne Tagliatelli and Spaghetti in the 100% organic pasta range.
All the products are also free from artificial pesticides, herbicides and fertilisers. Most of the range retails at £1.29 for 250g with semi wholewheat at £1.29 for 500g.
The four new pasta sauce variants are Mediterranean Vegetable, Slow Roasted Garlic and Chilli, Fresh Cherry Tomatoes with Basil and Parmesan, and Cherry Tomatoes and Olive. All retail at £1.79 for 305-350g.
