Morrisons and Persil are sponsoring the 2004 Champion Children of the Year awards to be held in London on December 15.

The awards encourage nominations for children aged 8 to 16 years, who are admired for their achievements in one of a range of categories, These include Art, Bravery, Sport, Music, Triumph over Adversity and Young Carer.

A Persil brand manager said: “As a long-established, leading family brand that has consistently believed and invested in activities and programmes that encourage children’s learning and development, Persil is very proud to be co-sponsor of the Champion Children of the Year Award 2004. And to join in the search for the six Champion Children. We also wish the organisers every success in raising funds for the NSPCC.”

Nominations can be made in any Morrisons or Safeway stores, or by writing to the address below. Nominations must include details of why the candidate is a Champion Child, the category, name and address of both the candidate and nominator.
