Convenience chain Scotfresh is seeking a new MD after Chris Gallacher announced he was leaving in the new year.
The retailer currently has eight stores across Glasgow and the central belt. It is looking to grow the estate and has recently widened its search to include units not currently trading as convenience stores.
“We’ve built our reputation as one of the leading names in convenience retailing in Scotland over the last couple of years and we’re ready to take the business to the next level,” said Scotfresh company chairman Shaun Marwaha.
“As well as strengthening our fresh food business and developing our ‘Oor Kitchen’ food-to-go concept, our management team led by current managing director Chris Gallacher has focused on cementing strong foundations, improving efficiencies and forging strong relationships with suppliers.
“Chris has decided to move on to a new challenge in the new year and I would like to thank him for his contribution to Scotfresh over the last two-and-a-half years. The search is now on for an ambitious, highly experienced individual to take the business to the next level and further strengthen the Scotfresh convenience brand,” Marwaha added.
