Free-from bakery brand Mrs Crimble's has won new listings as demand for gluten-free grows.

From next week, 500 Co-op Group stores will carry the brand's gluten-free jam coconut rings, Dutch apple cakes and Original cheese crackers, while Asda will be selling its mini-choc orange macaroons and sundried-tomato cheese crackers. Tesco has increased the number of stores stocking Original cheese crackers.

Gluten-free was seen as a lifestyle choice, said Mrs Crimble's MD Jeremy Woods. "People with no allergies are buying our products," he added.
