Müller is revamping its Mini Fruit Corners offering and ditching the name.
Instead, it is renaming the brand Snack Size Fruit Corners in a bid to extend its appeal and occasions for use.
Rolling out under the new guise from Monday, Müller insisted that the format had been a sales success for the company, shifting 35 million pots in its first year.
However, it said that research showed consumers thought the brand was only suitable for children because of the Mini tag and that it was therefore missing out on a major target market.
In particular, Müller hopes the name change will buy the brand a place in adult snacking and lunchboxes.
The relaunch is set to benefit from a £5m spend on the umbrella Corner brand this year.
A nationwide poster campaign dedicated to the newcomer will also run during the key back-to-school period in September.
Multipacks of eight 95g strawberry flavour pots will carry a rsp of £1.99.
