Grolsch has opened its £166m environmentally friendly brewery in Holland. The flagship brewery at Boekelo, near Enschede, has low water and energy consumption, no perceptible odour emissions and minimal noise levels outside the brewery site.
“The distinctive taste of Grolsch won’t change,” said David Preston, Coors’ director of marketing for premium brands.
“The same natural raw materials of water, malt and two distinctive types of hops will be used.”
