All About Food has launched a 40g bag of Nando's Peri-Peri Chips to cash in on consumer enthusiasm for spicy on-the-go snacks.

The single bags (rsp: 55p) will be available in the same three flavours as the 150g bags: Peri-Peri Chicken, Smokey BBQ Peri-Peri and Hot Peri-Peri.

They will specifically target the impulse market and tap the trend for spicy food. Half a million of the 150g packs have been sold since their launch last November, said Charlotte Dewhurst, product manager for All About Food, which holds the licence to make Nando's products.
