Palmolive has kickstarted a "programme of innovation" for 2003 with the launch of a new bathtime product.
Naturals Milk & Lavender bath milk is aimed at bolstering Palmolive's position as a popular brand in Britain's bathrooms.
On-shelf from next month, the newcomer is said to combine the "soothing" elements of lavender with the "nourishing" qualities of milk.
It will roll out in two sizes ­ 500ml and 750ml, at an rsp of £2.49 and £3.49 respectively.
Palmolive is supporting the launch with a campaign which will include TV advertising and consumer sampling.
A spokesman said: "This is the first product in our NPD programme for 2003, during which we will continue to innovate, add value to the personal care market and strive to better our position in the marketplace."
