The cheese specialist has a dedicated section of the store's cheese counter, selling 10 varieties. Leaflets are available to advise customers on how to store their purchases.
The northern chain currently stocks Neal's Yard cheeses in its specialist artisan shop in Kendal but this is the first time it has launched the offer in its main stores. Booths is the first mainstream retailer to trial the offer.
"The trial makes Neal's Yard cheeses accessible to more people," said a Booths spokeswoman. "We're looking at the same offer for our store in Garstang, which opens in the autumn. If it proves popular, we could roll it out to further stores."
Neal's Yard Dairy has two London retail outlets and turns over £8m in retail, wholesale and exports.
