Nestlé is adding an orange flavour to its Aero sharing block bars to kick off a "huge year" for the brand.

The orange variant will join the 120g-sized ­peppermint and milk chocolate flavours from the new year to build on what Nestlé claims is a 70% annual sales growth for the two products. It will be available in £1 price-marked packs and non price-marked formats.

"This launch marks the start of a huge year for Aero in 2011," said Graham Walker, Nestlé UK trade communications manager.

Nestlé ditched its Aero Orange countline in 2007, 12 years after launch.
