Nestlé is planning to build a 880,000 sq ft factory and distribution centre in Anderson, Indiana, to produce the company's Nesquik and Coffee Mate products.

Nestlé said that the $359m factory, which is expected to open in spring 2008, would create approximately 300 new jobs.

Steve Presley, vice president and general manager of ready-to-drink beverages, added that Nestlé had chosen Anderson as the site for the factory because of its central location and welcoming environment.
