Nestlé UK & Ireland chief executive Paul Grimwood will move on in October to head up the fmcg giant’s US business.
Taking his place at the helm of the UK and Irish business will be Nestlé’s global coffee chief, Fiona Kendrick.
Currently based at Nestlé’s headquarters in Switzerland, Kendrick was UK managing director of the beverage division for several years.
Grimwood had been UK CEO since January 2009 having previously headed up the local arm of the confectionery business.
Nestlé said that despite the “difficult economic environment” during Grimwood’s tenure, the UK & Ireland business had delivered “consistent growth in sales profitability and grown overall market share”.
