St Helier Pear Cider is branching out into new flavours with apple and raspberry & lime pear variants.

The move is an attempt to target the new generation of cider drinkers who tend to be more adventurous and search out new flavours, says brand-owner Intercontinental Brands.

"The cider market has been very dynamic, attracting a contemporary and independently minded consumer group," said joint-MD Paul Burton. A large proportion of this audience is female, according to Burton, and looking for clean tasting, refreshing drinks that can be consumed over ice.
