Arla has expanded its Skyr range with a limited-edition pear, apple and cinnamon variant of the Icelandic-style yoghurt.
The newcomer will be on sale until February and contains skyr yoghurt layered with a fruity apple and pear compote adding a “delicious spice undertone” for the winter, Arla said (rsp: 85p/150g pots).
The Arla Skyr brand was now worth £14.4m, said brand manager Louise Hagger.
“We’ve had a fantastic year - with Skyr achieving 8.4% penetration. Arla branded yogurts have now climbed to 1.4% of the total market share,” Hagger added. “This latest addition is a great fit for the winter months.”
