BD Single Malt

BrewDog has bolstered its Lonewolf craft spirits portfolio with a gin and a vodka.

Gunpowder Gin (57% abv) is infused with Szechuan and black peppercorns, bitter orange and star anise. Single Malt Barrel-Aged Vodka (42.7% abv) is made with 100% malt barley and aged in charred American oak for eleven months, which BrewDog said gave it “the personality of whisky”.

Both new tipples have an rsp of £25/500ml, and have launched into the brand’s online shop and UK bar estate.

It comes as the brewer has embarked on a fifth round of Equity for Punks crowdfunding, with an eye to raising up to £50m to finance its ongoing overseas expansion and the development of a new production facility.

At the time of writing, it had raised £6.6m of its initial £10m target from 12,416 investors, with 39 days remaining.
