Soft drinks brand Fentimans is expanding its range with the launch of a Sparkling Lime & Jasmine variant.
Launching on 1 March in a 275ml bottle (rsp: £1.19), the drink will initially be available through wholesalers, with multiple listings targeted for the autumn.
Fentimans said the new beverage would meet the growing demand for sophisticated substitute for alcohol.
“Premium drinks that act as an alternative to alcohol represent a significant growth opportunity within the adult soft drinks category,” said head of marketing Andrew Jackson. “This is driven by more and more people choosing to limit their weekly alcohol consumption or taking alcohol sabbaticals.”
Sales of Fentimans are up 25.7% to £1.7m [IRI 52 w/e 10 October 2015].
