Suffolk craft brewery St Peter’s has unveiled what it is billing as the world’s only organic zero-alcohol beer.
The third non-alcoholic launch from the brand, Without Organic is a “rich and full-bodied” brew with a “slight maltiness balanced with a sweet aftertaste”, which will be available from January in 500ml bottles.
The launch was driven by “growing consumer appetite for more choice and quality in the alcohol-free category” and meant the brand could now cater for customers seeking organic, vegan and zero-alcohol options, said CEO Steve Magnall.
Without, its first alcohol-free beer, has already racked up £178,000 in value since its launch [Nielsen 52 w/e 9 September 2017].
Meanwhile, sales of St Peter’s flagship Golden Ale grew by £48k (9.3%) to £575k this year, and its Organic Best Bitter brew grew £95k (32.6%) to £391k [Nielsen].
