Start-up snack brand Well&Truly has unveiled its third product: gluten-free Crunchy Cheese Sticks.

Following its Gluten Free Tortilla Chips and Refreshing Gazpacho Drink, the baked NPD (rsp: £1.99/100g) – positioned as a healthier alternative to traditional cheese crisps – will roll out to Tesco stores this month, promising 93 calories per 23g serving.

Well&Truly was incorporated in February 2015 by sisters-in-law Sara and Maria Trechman, to offer body-conscious shoppers alternatives to popular snacks. The latest launch has a fat content “significantly less than you’d expect from a cheesy snack”, said Maria.

Sara Trechman added: “When speaking to consumers, we found they were looking for indulgent-tasting snacks that were better for you with regards to fat.”
