Aimed at extending the product’s repertoire, the company said that the line-up of four sauces was prompted by confusion among consumers over the benefits of the various different varieties.
As a result, four new bottles are rolling out to stores from this month with clear label indicators to help shoppers choose the right option.
Dark Soy Sauce is flagged up as being ideal for chicken stir-fries and rice, while a Light variant is advocated for vegetable and prawn stir fries.
A Reduced Salt offering is for rice dishes and salad dressings, while Chilli Soy Sauce is for sweet & sour and soups.
Rsp for each will be 89p for 150ml and £1.39 for 250ml.
Marketing manager Keith Ironside said the aim was to encourage consumers to use soy sauce in more of their favourite dishes.
