Sainsbury has unveiled a raft of premium wine and spirit lines sourced exclusively for its new upmarket store in London's Chelsea.
Sainsbury's Market at Bluebird store, which has been designed by Conran and Partners, boasts a selection of 50 fine wines, 12 spirits and seven fortified wines which have never before appeared on the retailer's shelves.
The extended range of wines includes a Mouton Rothschild 1989 and a Cheval Blanc 1996, priced at £179.99 and £139.99 per bottle respectively.
But the retailer said the "jewel in the crown" was the l'Exclusive de Ruinart Champagne which is available to order instore for £750.
A range of fortified wines and spirits have also been specially selected for the store.
A Graham's 1977 Vintage port is on sale for £54.99 alongside a Glenmorangie Malt whisky which has been matured in oak casks for 21 years and carries a £65 price tag.
A Sainsbury spokesman said: "The store is about selling top of the range products that you wouldn't expect to see in a supermarket."
