A raft of New Zealand brands that supply several UK multiples are coming to London later this month in an effort to tap into more niche distribution channels.
Manuka honey exporter Comvita, avocado oil Olivado and children's food specialist The Good Village Company are among New Zealand businesses hoping to target "more discerning customers" such as organic box specialist Abel & Cole.
Collectively, they already supply Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Holland & Barrett.
"Niche retailers provide a broader customer base and new sales channels for these brands, which are known for their health and natural qualities," said event organiser Vicki Day.
"They also open up more channels through online."
The event at London's New Zealand House on 21 February is backed by New Zealand Trade & Enterprise.
