Nisa-Today’s has extended its central distribution trading team with the appointment of two new category controllers.
Gordon Vickers has joined to take buying responsibility for pet food, canned vegetables, spirits and fortified wine.
Graham Holbrook will be buying biscuits, oils, preserves and spreads.
Vickers had been working as a senior buyer for discount retailer B&M Retail. He was formerly also a buyer for Netto Foodstores for nine years and a general manager in the cash & carry industry for six years.
Holbrook has been an assistant buyer for Morrisons, a seasonal buyer for Budgens and a category analyst for The Co-operative Group.
Paul Batchelor, central distribution trading manager, said: “Nisa-Today’s is experiencing tremendous growth - note the opening of our new 625,000 sq ft ambient warehouse - and this is reflected in the need to expand our team.”
