Batchelors is targeting students with its first on-pack promotion for SuperNoodles, a popular grocery item among cash-strapped scholars. The instant win promotion offers prizes of wide screen televisions and Playstation 2 goodies. A roadshow to raise awareness of the promotion is touring the country, visiting 20 universities and including a snowboarding competition on a simulator. Promotional packs are rolling out to stores now with randomly placed winning tickets. Category manager Guy Shepherd said: "The prizes on offer are a perfect fit for our target audience of 16 to 34-year-old men and will particularly appeal to students who are core consumers of hot snack products." {{P&P }}
