Bernard Matthews has launched a £7m TV and print advertising campaign, its biggest for more than a decade, to extend usage of its cooked meats beyond sandwiches. It has also launched a website with recipe ideas for family meals.
Four TV ads are being aired from this month under the strapline ‘One of life’s essential ingredients’. They will show how the meats can be used for dishes such as a tikka curry, pasta, roast chicken ciabatta and a turkey, ham and egg breakfast sandwich.
A summer sampling drive and 34-page recipe booklet also form part of the campaign.
