Ocado has teamed up with Birds Eye and design agency Jkr to trial animation on its website.

For a three-week period Ocado shoppers browsing for fish fingers will see an animated version of the brand’s ‘spokesbear’ Clarence munching a fish finger.

“We worked with Ocado to ensure the animation generates brand interest without detracting from the immediate ease of the shop,” said Birds Eye head of retail Pippa Dunford.
