Bessière is bringing out some older vintages from the Languedoc Roussillon in an effort to show there is more to the region than the new style of wines now being made. The south of France is developing a reputation for value for money New World style wines made for drinking young. Bessière, however, aims to demonstrate it can also produce top quality wines suitable for ageing. There are 19 wines in its selection of chateaux and domaines wines from vintages from 1983 to 1997. There are two white varietals a Chardonnay and a Voignier which show the possibilities for white grapes in the region. {{DRINKS }}
