Under the arrangement, Lloyd Maunder will supply organic lamb and chicken and Chitty Food Group beef and pork.
The move is designed to allow retailers to buy all their organic meat requirements from a single source.
The companies are planning to spend more than £100,000 on launching an organic meat brand next year.
David Price, Chitty Food Group sales and marketing director, said the companies were close to finalising major contracts with two multiples.
“We believe that the alliance will ensure that our customers receive the best-possible product, which is also supported by the best service.
“The organic meat and poultry sector is growing by more than 27% year-on-year according to ACNielsen.
“These figures are a clear indication that the way forward is in organic meat.”
