PayPoint welcomes fair competition and is happy to be judged on the merits of our commercial offer and quality of service. Contracts come up for retendering regularly and, as in the case in congestion charging, PayPoint suffers losses as well as gains. This contrasts starkly with the potential entry into our markets by Camelot, a protected monopoly from an entirely different market using a fully funded infrastructure to unfairly cross-subsidise its activities.
