When the layout in a supermarket changes it’s a little bit disorientating, isn’t it? It will probably be a bit like that reading The Grocer this week, as we’ve moved things around, bringing some of our news coverage further forward in the book to reflect our strengths as a news magazine, while the Movers & Shakers pages move to the back to be closer to the Recruitment section.

But the latest evolution of The Grocer involves much more than a lick of paint and a new store layout. There’s an enhanced analysis section, new columnists, a total revamp of The Grocer 33, and – to help you navigate the credit crunch – much, much more pricing information.

Our category reports are also enhanced by new insight into advertising and promotion as well as over- and under-trading by multiple retailers. There will also be dedicated news pages for independents, wholesalers, fine foods, non-food and technology.

And there’s more! Our brand new website includes a free search of The Grocer’s archive and unlocks 90% of the content. It also includes a new forum, blogs and more. So remember: what’s the best deal in grocery? The Grocer, of course.
