A huge national and regional media campaign targeting 25 million households is being launched to help drive Christmas turkey sales.

British Turkey is funding the promotion, which will focus on getting consumers to look for the Quality British Turkey mark, whilst also educating people about the range of smaller turkey joints available.

Kim Burgess, chairman of British Turkey’s publicity and marketing committee, said: “One key aim is to tell consumers they can enjoy turkey and all the trimmings without buying a big bird. They can chose from a huge range of options, including crown roasts, boned and stuffed turkey breasts and whole legs.”
