The Food Standards Agency will stage open meetings in the UK’s four capital cities next week to spell out the future for Over Thirty Months beef.
Members of the public and industry will be able to quiz experts on changes to the OTM rule and hear about the outcome of BSE testing trials.
Professor Patrick Wall, chairman of an independent group of experts set up to advise the FSA on the trials, will address the London meeting. There will be a question and discussion session at all four venues.
The meetings are due to take place in London on Monday, Edinburgh on Tuesday, Belfast on Thursday and Cardiff on Friday.
