South African fruit supplier Outspan has extended its relationship with drinks manufacturer Aimia Foods to launch a 'quality' ambient smoothies range.
Outspan Smoothies are available now in strawberry & apple and orange, mango & banana in 180ml wedge packs (rsp: 59p).
They would fill the "significant gap for a quality, branded ambient smoothie", said Neal Haworth, marketing manager at Aimia Foods.
"Although chilled smoothie brands have seen a decline, own label and good value brands have seen growth as people trade down."
