A Smirnoff poster featuring a naked man sliding down a banister has been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority. The banister had a large round finial at the bottom and the poster featured the line "­If Smirnoff made painkillers". The ASA upheld complaints that the ad was offensive and said it encouraged excessive drinking because it depicted drunken activity. Guinness UDV said the ad would not be shown again. {{DRINKS }}
