Procter & Gamble has ­relaunched its Herbal Essences brand with an ­improved formula and ­revamped packaging.

The updated haircare brand, rolling out now, has ingredients to make hair silky, stronger fragrances and comes in packaging designed to re-emphasise its natural ingredients.

The relaunch would tap into the growing trend of consumers looking for ­natural products, said Paul Lettice, head of trade communications at P&G.

The relaunch is supported by a marketing push including a new TV ad.
