A former AB InBev national account controller has launched a consultancy to improve the relationship between suppliers and wholesalers.
Scott MacDonald has opened 1-2-1 Business Solutions, based in the West of Scotland, to improve operational effectiveness and revenues across the supply chain. The service allows businesses to seek commercial expertise from a third party and avoid the costs associated with a permanent resource.
MacDonald is currently working with CJ Lang & Son, owner of over 100 Spar stores and supplier to over 300 independent outlets, and Glasgow-based wholesaler JW Filshill.
Other clients include Batley’s Scotland, trade wholesaler Inverarity Morton, and Glasgow pub and restaurant group Kained Holdings.
“My aim is to provide an opportunity for companies to acquire step-changing insight into how they could improve the way they operate and do business within the wholesale, specialist and convenience channels,” said MacDonald.
“My knowledge of how suppliers operate makes me ideally placed to help both them and their customers re-evaluate their businesses.”
