Agency workers protested outside Marks & Spencer’s Slough store this week over “Victorian working conditions” at its Swindon DC.

The GMB union said M&S stood for ‘Marley and Scrooge’, because workers employed by Tempay were being required to work six days a week until January, with only one day off in a 14-day period.

GMB said more than 150 formal grievances had been submitted to Tempay.
