Premier Foods’ group marketing director Jon Goldstone is to leave the business following a restructure. Marketing will now be led by Iwan Williams, MD of grocery and bakery.

Asda retail development director Steve Masters is leaving the company. He previously worked at First Quench Group, owner of off-licence chain Threshers.

Own-label coffee roaster Lincoln & York has created a distributor support team, to be led by wholesale sales manager Steve Goode.

Dr Philip Morley has joined The British Tomato Growers’ Association as technical officer. He has worked in the industry for many years, most recently as senior technical agronomist for one of the UK’s largest tomato growers.

Unilever Food Solutions has appointed Peter Dahl as channel marketing director for the UK & Ireland. He has worked for Unilever for 15 years, most recently as a channel marketing leader in the Nordics.

Payzone has increased its convenience field support team from three to 10 to allow more site visits and to develop a more hands-on relationship with retailers.

Bernard Suh, founder of oriental food specialist Korea Foods, has moved to the role of chairman. He has been replaced by Dan Suh as MD of UK & head office operations and Yooni Suh as MD of the European division.

Alan Chandler, a former director general of the Provision Trade Federation, died this week in hospital. Chandler was awarded an MBE in 1995.
