The Health Lottery has restructured its sales team to improve its relationship with retailers.

The 64-strong team has been divided into six sections - major food retailers, major site operations, symbol groups, independents, category management and shopper marketing. Andy Hughes and Adam Jones have been appointed to head major food retailers and Simon Davies to lead symbol groups.

“Next year, we want to be more inclusive,” said head of sales Andy Mallows. “Our new sales structure reflects the market and we are looking forward to building even better relationships with our retailers.”

Retailer team meetings would also be introduced in 2014, he added.
